We Scrapped Cooling Bra V1.0: For 2.0, We Rebuilt the Whole Thing

Straps that couldn't be adjusted. Fabric that could wrinkle after repeated washing. Bonded edges that still had room to improve.

When the same kinds of problems keep appearing in customer feedback, eventually you have to make a decision.

Ours wasn't the convenient one: stop trying to rescue the old version and rebuild it.

IT STARTED WITH THE REVIEWS

The thing that keeps a product team awake isn't one person saying, “I don't like it.”

It's when different people, at different times, start pointing to the same problem.

After the first Cooling Bra launched, we heard a lot of things people loved about it.

It was light. Wireless. Less bulky in hot weather. And the slim straps made it easier to hide under tank tops and lightweight summer clothes.

But as more women actually wore it through everyday life, another kind of feedback started showing up.

The kind you usually don't discover during a five-minute try-on.

I wish the straps were adjustable.
After a few washes, the fabric doesn't look as smooth as it did at first.
The bonded edges could be more durable.
I wish there were more size options.

The difficult part? These weren't just random one-off comments.

V1.0 → V2.0

So this time, we didn't bother pretending the old version had no problems.

We put V1.0 and V2.0 next to each other.

And in the official upgrade comparison, the weaknesses of the original version are written right there:

Non-adjustable straps. Easily wrinkled fabric. Prone to peeling. Basic material. Limited size.

In real-life wearing terms, that means the straps weren't flexible enough, the fabric could look less smooth after washing, the bonded construction still had room to improve, the skin-contact material could feel better, and the size range could be more inclusive.

We didn't scrap V1.0 because everything about it was bad. We scrapped it because once you know exactly where a product can be better, pretending the problems aren't there stops being an option.
BEHIND THE UPGRADE

Cooling Bra 2.0 didn't begin with a new sketch. It began with a pile of reviews.

The hardest part of rebuilding a bra isn't coming up with a new name.

It's figuring out:

Which exact detail turns a bra that feels comfortable at first into something annoying after hours of wear?

1

Step 1: Turn “I don't like it” into something we can actually fix

We started by going back through product reviews, customer-service feedback and recurring wear comments.

“It's uncomfortable” isn't something you can hand to a pattern maker.

But: “the straps don't adjust,” “the fabric wrinkles after washing,” or “the bonded areas don't hold their original condition as well over time” are problems you can isolate and work on.

2

Step 2: Stop looking only at how the bra looks before the first wash

Making a seamless bra look perfectly smooth the moment it comes out of the package isn't the hardest part.

The real question is what happens after wearing, stretching and washing it again and again.

So the new fabric direction wasn't only about achieving that first-touch “cool and silky” feeling.

We also had to reconsider fabric stability, stretch, recovery and edge construction.

3

Step 3: We went back and redrew the straps

Fixed straps look clean.

But they come with a pretty big assumption: that every woman has roughly the same shoulder height, bust position and upper-body proportions.

Obviously, we don't.

So V2.0 moved to 0.8 cm wider adjustable slim straps.

But adding an adjuster wasn't enough.

The challenge was keeping the slim-strap look people liked while improving everyday fit and support.

4

Step 4: If we're rebuilding it, we can't stop at the straps

Once we started changing the strap structure, another question became impossible to ignore.

What if the straps were better, but the cups were still too shallow?

What if the fabric still lost its smooth appearance too easily?

What if the lining still wasn't comfortable enough?

That wouldn't be a real 2.0.

It would just be the old bra with a new strap attached.

5

Step 5: Put the sample back into real life

A bra can't be judged by standing in front of a mirror for five minutes.

Its real test happens during commuting, sitting at a desk, raising your arms, sweating, wearing a white T-shirt, pairing it with a tank top and washing it repeatedly.

A change of only a few millimeters can feel completely different after eight or nine hours of wear.

THE FRUSTRATING PART

Making a bra “better” isn't hard. Making one improvement without ruining something else is.

Make the straps wider, and support may improve.

But make them too wide and you lose the discreet spaghetti-strap look that made the bra easy to style in the first place.

Give the fabric more structure, and it may recover better after washing.

But make it too heavy, and you've just destroyed the lightness a Cooling Bra is supposed to have.

Make the cups deeper, and coverage improves.

But if the rest of the pattern doesn't change with them, you risk creating gaps.

That was the hardest part of 2.0: not adding more features, but making sure all those changes still felt like the same bra.

FINAL 2.0

These are the six upgrades that actually made it into the final version

VEIMIA Cooling Bra 2.0 six upgraded details
1

0.8 cm Wider Adjustable Straps

This directly addresses one of the clearest limitations of V1.0: the straps couldn't be adjusted.

V2.0 can now be adapted to different shoulder heights and bust positions, while still keeping the slim-strap look.

2

Upgraded Textured Fabric

This upgrade responds to concerns around wrinkling and how the fabric looked after washing.

The new version reconsidered the fabric structure itself, not just how silky it feels when you first touch it.

3

Deeper 3D Cups

The cups were made deeper to give the bust more room and reduce the compressed, less stable feeling that can come from cups that are too shallow.

4

Mulberry Silk Skin-Contact Lining

When you wear a bra all day, the part that stays against your body isn't the product name.

It's the lining.

V2.0 brings the upgrade to the place your skin actually feels it.

5

Improved Anti-Peeling Bonding

Seamless bras depend heavily on bonded construction.

So the bonding structure was also revisited, with the official upgrade materials specifically highlighting improved anti-peeling performance.

6

Sizing Extended to 2XL

Limited size coverage was another issue we wanted to address.

The current version is available in M, L, XL and 2XL.

WHERE IT ENDED UP

Cooling Seamless Bra 2.0

VEIMIA Cooling Seamless Bra 2.0

If V1.0 asked, “How can we make a summer bra feel lighter?” V2.0 asks: “Can it stay light without making you compromise?”

The new version keeps what mattered most about the original Cooling Bra: wireless comfort, lightweight construction, a seamless look, slim straps and easy summer styling.

But it also goes back and reworks the details customers were actually noticing in daily wear.

WE DIDN'T FORGET WHY IT'S CALLED A COOLING BRA

After changing almost everything else, it still had to pass the summer test: don't feel stuffy.

If improving support made the Cooling Bra thick, rigid and hot, then the upgrade would have missed the point.

So 2.0 keeps the lightweight cooling direction, paired with breathable pads, wireless soft support and seamless construction.

VEIMIA Cooling Seamless Bra lightweight breathable cooling fabric

For Hong Kong and Southeast Asian summers, a comfortable cooling bra doesn't necessarily need to make you think, “Wow, this feels freezing,” every second.

Sometimes the better test is simpler:

you stop being constantly reminded that you're wearing something heavy across your chest.

AFTER 2.0 LAUNCHED

The feedback we want most isn't “2.0 is amazing.” It's the old complaints quietly disappearing.

The most interesting part of a product upgrade isn't how many changes a brand can list.

It's whether the person wearing it still keeps thinking about the strap, the cup edge or the piece of fabric that used to wrinkle.

In VEIMIA customer feedback, we've also started seeing comments around slim straps sitting more naturally, moderate support, a natural bust shape and an unobtrusive look under lightweight clothing.

For underwear, the most luxurious kind of presence may be forgetting that it's there at all.

WHY SHOW THE OLD VERSION'S PROBLEMS AT ALL?

Because replacing a product doesn't mean the first version was a failure.

Actually, the opposite is often true.

If the first version had never been worn through everyday life by real customers, we might never have learned which details looked perfectly fine on the design table but slowly became irritating in the real world.

Customer reviews aren't always pleasant to read.

But for people who make products, the most dangerous thing isn't criticism.

The most dangerous thing is when customers stop believing it's worth telling you what's wrong.

That's why we didn't hide the weaknesses of V1.0.

Cooling Bra 2.0 isn't trying to prove:

“We got everything right the first time.”

It's trying to prove something else:

When you tell us where a product isn't good enough, we actually go back and work on it.

MORE OPTIONS

Because not every summer outfit needs the same bra

Cooling Bra works well for lightweight everyday outfits, but low-back tops, off-shoulder dresses and completely strap-free looks may call for something different.

FAQ

Cooling Bra 2.0 Frequently Asked Questions

Why did VEIMIA upgrade the Cooling Bra?

The redesign was driven mainly by feedback from real-world wear. VEIMIA's official V1.0 / V2.0 comparison lists issues including non-adjustable straps, fabric that wrinkled more easily, peeling concerns, more basic materials and limited sizing.

The main upgrades include 0.8 cm wider adjustable slim straps, deeper cups, upgraded textured fabric, a mulberry-silk skin-contact lining, improved anti-peeling bonding and sizing extended to 2XL.

Is Cooling Bra 2.0 wireless?

Yes. The upgraded version keeps the wireless soft-support direction and pairs it with breathable pads and seamless construction.

COOLING BRA 2.0

Scrapping V1.0 wasn't just a dramatic headline.

It meant we weren't willing to identify the problems and then hand customers the exact same product again.

If the straps couldn't adjust, we rebuilt the straps.

If the fabric wasn't stable enough after washing, we revisited the fabric.

If the bonding needed to last better, we worked on the bonding.

If the cups needed more room, we changed the cups.

Cooling Bra 2.0 doesn't need to pretend V1.0 was perfect. The reason 2.0 exists is because V1.0 could still be better.
